Hi everyone,
It was lovely to see so many of you in school this week. Watching you reconnect with each other was an absolute joy and I look forward to seeing you again next week. I've added some photos below including a space picture which every child in the pods contributed to. (I didn't remember to take photos every day so I'll add more next week!)
I've added the final two weeks work for this school year below. Also, an additional reading challenge for the summer holidays and summer spellings too.
Take care, stay safe

Hi All,
I hope you are all keeping safe and well as we continue to adjust to our changing lives.
Here we are again with another plan for distance learning for the next two weeks. Thank you for all the wonderful work you have been completing at home, its been lovely to receive emails of it and I can see the children have grown so much! Mrs V Morgan would also like to thank everyone who has emailed her in the last two weeks, keep them coming as she's really enjoying hearing about you.
For those of you coming back to school, please take time to familiarise yourself with the 'Preparing to Return to School' resources on this class page. Please complete and email the pupil questionnaire to me, feeling free to add any additional information I may need. May I please also ask that if your child wears shoes with laces that they learn to tie them independently before we return to school or opt for triple knots!
Stay safe, take care and I hope to see you very soon,
Mrs Rogers & Mrs Morgan

Looking forward to seeing you soon
Mrs Rogers xx

Hi everyone,
I hope you're all doing well and have had a good half term. We have been so lucky with the weather.
It's been so lovely receiving emails with the fabulous work you have been doing. Scroll down to see the brilliant WANTED posters that have been created. (RE work is coming soon). Well done to all those who took part in our 'Bryncoch Church School Virtual Sports Day'. If you haven't heard - COCH were this years winners (YAY!). Sports Day Certificates - if I've missed out anyone who took part please let me know.
I have attached the next two weeks work for you. The ICT task is to email Mrs Morgan - she's missing you all lots and would love to hear from you.
Take care, stay safe and hopefully we'll see each other very soon,

Hi everyone,
I hope this finds you all safe and well. I’ve heard from most of you now and it’s been a delight to see photos of the amazing work that is going on at home. Keep sending them in as it's making me such a proud teacher (and I've heard it helps the children work harder if they know I am going to see it)! We are moving onto 'The Billy Goats Gruff' this time and I can't wait to see your troll 'wanted posters'.
Just a handful of children haven't yet been in touch yet by email, so if you are reading this please drop me a message as it's a means of direct communication between us. I am here to help and support. RogersT46@hwbcymru.net
As May half term falls the week after next I have planned for a break in your distance learning. (Hooray I hear you say!) Tasks are for week beginning 18.5.20. and 1.6.20. You shouldn't need a printer as tasks can be copied onto paper.
I have included some lovely optional activities from 'Pobble' for half term week - 25.5.20. if you want to keep busy. They are all 'non-screen' activities to give us a break from technology!
We miss you lots,
take care and stay safe

I've uploaded some more tasks to keep you busy over the next two weeks.
You shouldn't need a printer as tasks can be copied onto paper.

Hello Dosbarth Mrs Rogers,
I hope you all had a lovely Easter and that you are staying safe and well.
Did the Easter Bunny make it to your home? I know I've eaten far too much chocolate!
You will find below your work for the next two weeks. If you scroll down I have put some ideas for you and your parents. I have also put a list of websites that might be useful to you. Try and keep Literacy (including reading), and Numeracy ticking over every day. It will be worth it!
If there are any questions or you would like to share work you have done with me, please email me on RogersT46@hwbcymru.net (from your Hwb email or a parents email). I look forward to receiving your RE photos.
Take care and stay safe!

Home Learning
Dear Parents/Carers,
With the concerns over the Coronavirus outbreak and how this might impact your child’s learning, we are offering some ideas to continue their education during any potential absences.
We also appreciate that keeping children engaged in their learning whilst at home is not going to be easy and so we have prepared content for your child that can be completed both independently and with adult support.
Please try to do the work over a two week period. This work is similar to what they would be covering in class. If you are finding it difficult to complete due to other commitments, please focus on the Literacy and Numeracy tasks in the first instance.
My school email is RogersT46@Hwbcymru.net. should you have any queries.
Stay safe
Mrs Rogers
